We believe that it’s good for kids in schools to question, explore and discover the Christian faith, and that a well planned Special Religious Education program delivered by trained adults from the local area adds value to public education.
Margaret Jurd College is a Ministry of the Uniting Church in Australia. A registered Non-Government Secondary Special School established to support young people who fall through the cracks in the education system.
Project Reconnect is a worship resource that is distributed weekly to help congregations with their worship service. It contains a message, discussion starters, a children’s message and some music resources. Congregations across Australia benefit from this resource as it inspires them to be the people of God in their communities.
Ligusa’s Children Centre is a registered non-for-profit orphanage for Kenyan children. It is located at Sondu in Western Kenya, close to Kisumu and Lake Victoria. The Children's Centre has been a home for hundreds of local orphans who have lost their parents due to local tragedies. Our project empowers and develops life-changing opportunities for the community.
Hunter Community Alliance is a broad-based collaboration and is inclusive of community, environmental, ethnic and cultural groups, unions, and religious organisations. Its purpose is to strengthen organisations, and the connectivity between them, through story, training and advocacy – to advance the common good of the Hunter Region.
